BBL HEROic was launched early in 2024 and is the next generation in Broadband Light (BBL). BBL HEROic treatments can address an extensive range of skin concerns:

What To Expect

You should feel minimal to no discomfort during treatment as your provider gently glides the BBL HEROic handpiece across the skin.

Simultaneously, the chilled sapphire crystal keeps the skin cool and comfortable. Post-treatment, most patients may continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes.

Patients receiving BBL HEROic treatments can expect visible results in just 1 to 2 treatments, while traditional IPL technology often requires 5 to 6 treatments to achieve similar results.

Your provider will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific skin revitalization needs—from a series of corrective treatments to establishing an ongoing skin care regimen.

 

Post-Treatment Care

Patients can typically resume normal activities immediately following a BBL HEROic treatment. Follow your provider’s advice closely. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen.

#1 Your skin may feel sensitive, like a sunburn.

#2 During healing, pigmented areas may darken, and some swelling and redness may persist temporarily. 

#3 Your body’s natural healing process of replacing damaged cells with new cells will begin in the days to weeks following your treatment and will result in revitalized skin.

FOREVER CLEAR BBL

Forever clear BBL uses a combination of blue, yellow, and infrared light to eliminate bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote the body’s natural healing process to clear acne.  The treatment is effective and comfortable, with little to no downtime. From teens struggling with hormonal acne to adults experiencing adult-onset acne, Forever Clear BBL is effective for patients of all ages and most skin types. During a Forever Clear BBL treatment, patients feel minimal to no discomfort as the provider gently glides the BBL HEROic handpiece across the skin. This process involves 3 total passes of the device over the treatment area.

The first pass uses blue light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria deep within the skin’s pores. The second pass uses yellow light to reduce inflammation and acne-associated redness while preventing new breakouts. To maximize patients’ results, the skin receives a third pass using infra-red light in rapid, gentle pulses to initiate the body’s natural healing process, reduce the appearance of existing scars, and enhance the benefits of the first two steps. A sapphire at the tip of the BBL HEROic applicator keeps the skin cool and comfortable throughout the treatment. Afterward, most patients will feel warm for 30 to 60 minutes.

SKINTYTE

SkinTyte is considered a more effective light-based treatment for achieving the appearance of younger-looking skin. As we age, so does our skin. But that doesn’t mean it’s game over. Toss out the ineffective creams and useless claims and improve the appearance of skin laxity with SkinTyte—the powerful nonsurgical treatment for the face, neck, and body. The treatment utilizes advanced infrared light technology to improve the appearance of lax skin. SkinTyte can help delay or eliminate the need for surgical procedures by improving the appearance of severe wrinkles and restoring a youthful contour to the face and body. SkinTyte is appropriate for all skin types. Patients may resume their regular activities immediately following treatment. The improvement in skin laxity from a SkinTyte treatment series is long-lasting. During an initial consultation, your provider will recommend the number of SkinTyte treatments needed to achieve your goals. During a SkinTyte procedure, the provider will apply the laser over the treated area four times. Each pass will deliver gentle heat to promote collagen production while maintaining optimal skin surface temperature, keeping the treatment comfortable and downtime low.

The result is improved skin for up to 12 months or longer.

Patients can expect mild redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn sensation, for a few minutes following the procedure. 

Most patients apply makeup and return to normal activitiesimmediately following treatment.

SkinTyte is typically performed as part of a series, spaced approximately 4-8 weeks apart, depending on the depth and coverage area of the treatment, as well as the health and integrity of the skin being treated.

Performed by BBL HEROic, uses light technology to destroy hair follicles at the source so they no longer grow.

Forever BARE is appropriate for most skin tones and hair textures and eliminates 80 to 90% of hair in the treated area within 3-6 treatments—depending on factors like hair texture, the treatment area, and skin tone. If hair grows back, it’s typically finer and less noticeable than before. Once or twice yearly maintenance treatments eliminate hair regrowth in the treated areas.

 

Forever BARE BBL is known as one of the most comfortable laser hair removal treatments. During the procedure, the Forever Bare handpiece produces a warming, “prickly” sensation that most patients report as being quite comfortable, even without using a numbing agent. The warmth subsides about an hour after treatment.
