Skin rejuvenation
Sun exposure, skin disorders, natural aging, smoking and genetics can all contribute to skin irregularities on the face and body. These include textural irregularities like wrinkles and acne scars, pigmentation changes like freckles, sun spots, age spots, and visible blood vessels. Additionally, skin may lose tone, firmness and lose the glow that is present in younger skin.
There are varying procedures that are available and frequently a combination of different modalities is necessary to treat the different aspects and types of skin damage.
Laser resurfacing, mechanical resurfacing, chemical peels and injectable products can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles of the entire face or those that develop in specific regions of the face, such as the upper lip and around the eyes. These treatments can also be used to address pigmentation disorders, such as sun and age spots, to improve the appearance of acne scars and other skin conditions, like rosacea, enlarged pores, capillaries (visible small blood vessels), and to improve the appearance of sagging skin.
The specific type of treatments that will best address your concerns are determined after a consultation with your aesthetic provider. Most skin treatments require a series of treatment and multi-modality approach to achieving the excellent results, as well ongoing maintenance treatments once your results are achieved. You will also, and most importantly, need to be committed to protecting your skin so that the results will be long lasting. Using a mineral sunscreen with at least SPF 30 is recommend daily and needs to be reapplied often.
Skin rejuvenation options include BBL HEROic based treatments, MOXI laser, microneedling, HydraFacial, LED therapy, and injectables, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP and Derma PRP and medical grade skin care. These treatments can be done alone or in combination. Combination therapies are ideal and provide a better result.
